Introductions

Hi everyone!
My name is Heather. I am a twenty seven year old mother of three wonderful daughters. My oldest daughter is almost eleven, middle daughter is nine and a half and my youngest daughter is five and a half.
About a year ago, my youngest daughter was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome.
Since having received that news, I have found myself feeling very alone with all of this. I do have two friends with sons that have AS but their sons are older and I just feel like my daughter and I are in a different place.
I've looked around locally and found that there aren't that many places here in San Antonio, Texas that have support groups or idea groups where parents can get together and talk, compare or learn about all of this.
But mostly, I wanted a place to post my story and a place where other people could come and post theirs. So, for now, I am going to keep this short. I am looking forward to blogging here and looking forward to meeting all of you.
